Call it civic pride or mountain spirit, but we think supporting the work of those maintaining trails, cleaning waterways, connecting youth to outdoors, and doing other awesome things to keep WNC a place we can all enjoy…well, it’s the right thing to do. As the area’s first outdoor store, we’ve enjoyed the support of our friends and neighbors since 1964.
The Southeast Regional Land Conservancy, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our natural resources through conservation easements. Since its founding in 2002, SRLC has protected thousands of acres in projects from the high mountains of Western North Carolina to the Alabama Ridge and coastal, sandhills, and piedmont lands in between. These easements have protected important wetlands, mountain coves and ridges, piedmont forests, stream banks, mountain views, and open spaces.
