Each month, we donate 10% of a day’s sales to support a local nonprofit’s work. In December, we’re doing it twice! Shop at our store in South Asheville’s Parkway Center on Tuesday, December 5, to support United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County.
Call it civic pride or mountain spirit, but we think supporting the work of those maintaining trails, cleaning waterways, connecting youth to outdoors, and doing other awesome things to keep WNC a place we can all enjoy…well, it’s the right thing to do. As the area’s first outdoor store, we’ve enjoyed the support of our friends and neighbors since 1964.
United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County is about local giving with local impact. Their vision is to make our community—one of the best places on the planet—a better place to live for all of its residents. Asheville and Buncombe County should be a community where all students receive a quality education, the cycle of poverty ends, and everyone has access to a healthy lifestyle that improves quality of life.
