Back in 2011, a few guys in Northern California got together and decided that traditional sandals couldn’t hold up to every-day wear and tear, so they launched a Kickstarter campaign to get their business going. Seven short years later and they’ve inserted themselves into the ranks of other sandal makers such as Chaco, Keen, and Teva by pushing the limits of what an adventuring sandal could be.
Since Bedrock’s creation, they have strived to make a product that will go above and beyond in meeting the expectations of those spending time everywhere from the backcountry to their own backyard, and if you ask us, they’re doing a dang good job. Between the super-sticky Vibram soles and the minimal design of their Cairn model (shown below), and their vow to donate 1% of sales to environmental non-profits, Bedrock is a brand we love to support and we are proud to be the only store carrying them in Asheville!
