Every week, fans of the Carolina Panthers have put up with comments that the team’s winning streak was a fluke, fans were just bandwagoners, and they’d never perform against the strongest NFL teams. Cam Newton and company are now headed to Super Bowl 50. Bandwagoners and fans since 1995 will both be watching on Sunday as they take on the Denver Broncos.
We thought it would be fun to place a wager with Colorado’s Summit Canyon Mountaineering, a fellow independent retailer and member of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance. We’re putting our taste buds on the line with this one. When the Panthers win, they’ll send us a case of unique Colorado brews. (Guys, we can already get New Belgium and Oskar Blues in our neck of the woods.) On the off chance the Broncos pull out a victory, the Summit Canyon crew will still win with delicious beers from Asheville’s finest breweries.
